HERE ARE 4 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT LET YOUR EMOTIONS TAKE CONTOL OF YOU.

As humans we are oftentimes faced with varieties of emotional condition ranging from stressful days to grievous times to really cheerful moments and sometimes extreme anger.
We often use several medium to express our thoughts, our opinions, our discontention as well as that which we find satisfactory— and this, is great!! But here is where there sure is a problem— "Emotional extreme" . It defines a state where natural emotional occurrences may result to unhealthy situations due to its length of experience and usually our inability to control those emotions. Prolonged sadness could lead to depression or even suicidal thoughts, Extreme happiness could lead to making unwise decisions, the most dreaded—anger, when not in control can be the reason for brutal aggression which may result to fatality. Here are some reasons you should consider critically before when your emotions begin to overwhelm you.

1. YOUR EMOTIONS ARE ONLY FOR A WHILE

I think for every case where emotion takes control to an excessive degree, there was a point where reasoning lost control. If only people knew or had in mind that those emotions have not come to stay forever, they would be conscious of what they get themselves involved in during such times.

I have, in the past let my emotions get a full grip of me and making a mess of me only for me to be so displeased at what just took place moments back while I was under the influence of uncurbed emotional energy. Have you felt the same way before? Let us know in the comment section below.

So before you let full bodily expression of your emotions, ask yourself if it's really worth all the stress. A lifetime regret for a two minute conflict? Death caused by unrestrained agitation? Is it really worth it? Of course not!!

2. YOU CAN BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED AFTERWARDS

No one wants to be taken for granted. Every one wants to be treated like a king or queen but, have we really paid attention to the composure of kings?  Even if they were to be honored not by position but by comportment, they still deserve it. Respect is not forcefully obtained, it is gained.

Emotional consistency is one way respect is gained. Unpredictable and fluctuating emotions will make you less attractive. If you are happy one moment and all moody the next, many people will be unwilling to associate with you. Don't let your emotions nullify all the values and principles you have set for your happiness. Since we are motivated by anything that proposes benefits on our side, I would advice that you have this reason firsthand and use it when life demands it.

3. YOU CAN LOSE CHERISHED ONES AND LOVED ONES.

Many times we refuse to confront the bitter truth - that our attitude is the reason why many stay away from us. Different quotes have arisen out of the pain of losing those with whom we were once close to. "Better to be alone than to have many friends", "No one truly cares" are only some out of the many. Before I proceed, I would love to make known that wise sayings don't necessarily make one wise but the purity and state of heart at which those words are said.

People have allowed unwholesome statements that proceeded from their mouths cut the trust they had in a vital relationship. Some in their happiness have exposed secrets of a friend unintentionally. In extreme cases death was the result. The list is unending and continues to grow by the day.

Learn to prioritize your friends over any emotion your present situation may have caused you. That is what I define as a RIGHT ATTITUDE.

4. YOU COULD LOSE YOUR LIFE

If you live on earth, except you don't!! — you probably have seen or experienced people who lost their lives due to emotions that went unrestrained. Thank God for technology, we now have access to countless events that take place on a daily basis with a click on the computer or our gadgets.
We have heard people fall into ditches and pits and to their own death after taking bottles of alcohol. Many of such individuals have been reported to have been in a state of unusual happiness or extreme state of depression that they drank to stupor and unfortunately ended their lives. One person out of every 20 persons die by the same influence on road accidents.

Consumption of alcohol is certainly not the only inclination people have when their emotions take over them. Some have tendencies to consume illegal drugs and others — a propensity to take irrational and calamitous actions. In anyways, death is often than thought, the resulting effect.

Do you think there's anyone who would be grateful to come across this? Yes of course!! Do well to share to your friends and family. This surely is a life changing information and you don't want them to miss out. Keep in touch for more of this.
