4 SIGNS YOU'RE GROWING UP

In today's world, we have lots of people who are old but have yet not understood the reality of life. Maturity is not a natural phenomenon that occurs with the advancement of age. While it is true that age provides us the advantage of numerous experiences that can aid our seeing things from different standpoints, it is also true that until cautious consideration of those experiences are taken, we'll only live a life of repeated misery that never gets a chance to be amended. Let's take a look and see if you have all 5 signs at work in your life

1.You forgive more easily

Do you keep grudges for too long? Do you still have records of people wrongs? Do you still hoard feelings of bitterness against a person who offended? You may be struggling with unforgiveness. But you see — to one who is mature, it is not so. They have learnt the difficult assignment of making peace with everyone as well as acting based on what is right rather than by their emotions.

2.You cherish your time

If you slept 6 hours every day, you must have in 30 days spent 7½ days culminatively on your bed resting! Don't let that amaze you. It's more real than it is a fact. Unfortunately, many are of the manner of sleeping for terribly long hours. Don't get me wrong, sleep is vital to the health but should not be abused.

The mature through experiential knowledge and learning have come to realize that time is invaluable.
They know who to spend their time with, they know the difference between busyness and productivity They are also not involved in needless activities that eat up their precious time and give them nothing in return.

3.You avoid unproductive argument

According to psychological studies, arguments can be beneficial. It is helpful getting two people in any relationship get along with each other since arguments is an undeniable platform that provokes understanding between two people. Nevertheless, not all arguments are efficient and are useful in building up— infact, only very few are. Unproductive arguments usually stem from the need to prove a point without any form of flexibility between one or both parties. The mature have learnt to differentiate these kinds of arguments. They try all that is within their power to avoid it.

4. You know how to maximize disappointment and pain.

Let's face this heads on- we can't deny that we are confronted with diverse disappointment by the day, either because of a failed plan, having low grades in school or the loss of a job. This can be really painful and can catch up with our humanity, filling us with grief and dismay —and it sure does. But it seems that those who are mature seem to have learnt an important lesson from the eagle. Yes you got it right!! They rise against the wind of adversity. They don't waste their pain instead they take advantage of it by comforting others who are going through the pain that they had been through.
